Former Beatle George Harrison is to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Former BEATLE GEORGE HARRISON is to be honoured with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Harrison's star will be unveiled on 13 April (08) on 1750 Vine Street, next to former bandmate John Lennon's star, and right infront of the Capitol Records building - the Hollywood home of the Beatles.

Harrison's widow Olivia and son Dhani are expected to attend the ceremony on behalf of the guitarist, who died of cancer in 2001.

The event is timed to coincide with Martin Scorsese's forthcoming documentary about the star, and Capitol's release of previously unheard Harrison material.

The Beatles' former guitarist, who died of cancer in 2001, will receive a star on the fabled walk on April 14, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced.

His widow, Olivia Harrison, and his son, Dhani, are expected to attend the unveiling.
